In Carbon County, we have had 6 positive COVID-19 tests returned 

All of these cases have recovered.

There are now 0 active cases of confirmed COVID-19 in Carbon County .

Four of Carbon County’s Laboratory confirmed cases were household contacts and not considered community acquired.The other two are believed to have acquired the virus independently from outside of the community.

The Carbon County Commissioners on 3/17/2020 issued an executive order declaring a public health emergency to exist within the Carbon County related to the communicable disease COVID-19 novel coronavirus. 

The emergency order allows the county to access additional funds and resources in relation to this public health issue.

The City of Red Lodge, Office of the Mayor, on 3/18/2020, issued an executive order declaring a public health emergency to exist within the City of Red Lodge related to the communicable disease COVID-19 novel coronavirus. 

The emergency order allows the city to activate the response and  recovery aspects of any and all local disaster emergency plans including the Carbon County Emergency Operations Plan and other powers.

The Town of Joliet, Office of the Mayor, on 3/26/2020, issued an executive order declaring a public health emergency to exist within the Town of Joliet related to the communicable disease COVID-19 novel coronavirus. 

The emergency order allows the city to activate the response and recovery aspects of any and all local disaster emergency plans including the Joliet City Council’s approved Carbon County Emergency Operations Plan if one is developed and other powers.
